Why the sudden focus on Pure Alloy and Classics Custom cymbals, Meinl?
@Lumerdrums Жыл бұрын
I guess because they brought out a new crash out of the pure alloy custom thin hammered line. just promotion for "newer" products

Always having to spread the word on our different series. Any cymbal series you are interested in hearing more of?

so I'm an awful drummer (just do it for fun), but I've always wondered: are all of those ghost notes on the snare intentional?? like if you're a drummer, are you writing in these ghost notes? or are you thinking "I want to do ghost notes"?
@mickdeez Жыл бұрын
i'm sure they are intentional. for me, they also help keep the beat

Ron, they're mostly a feel thing.... not like 'i need ghost notes here'. more like, 'this feels right and fills out my groove, makes it thicker'
@GrahamScanlonDrums Жыл бұрын
Both. Some drummers will write deliberate ghost note patterns that are played the same way every time. Other drummers just feel their way through it.

These parts are written intentionally. If you’re asking me, I’m very particular about taps. Ghost notes are a much lower dynamic than taps.
