Instead of Y2K worries I was dancing the night away with some great friends from Japan when the Deejay played this song. Very fond memories 25 years later. Of course I bought the Inner Circle CD on my return home to South Africa

This song is only the European and Japan versions of Jamaika Me Crazy. There was an American version of Jamaika Me Crazy, but it doesn't have the song "Black and White". You can usually find the Euro and Japan versions of Jamaika Me Crazy on ebay or from 3rd party sellers on Amazon.

I like this version. I'm most familiar with the Three Dog Night version from 1972, and I would love to hear the Sammy Davis Jr. version from 1957 but haven't seen it on KZbin. This is about the 1954 Supreme Court decision integrating schools.

This particular version was released in 1998 on the album Jamaika Me Crazy. You are correct, though; Inner Circle recorded an earlier version for 1989 album Identified.
