FFXV Timed Quest
Video showing the Cactuar/Slactuar timed quest in FFXV. Not played in a while so forgive any SLOPPEEEEH-ness. No idea when it was released but was composed by Afrojack and I'm going to go out on a limb and say it's called Afrosword. Feel free to correct me though.

Did my first Timed Quest moments ago, and my initial impression to the music was 'wha...?', but not necessarily in a bad way. As the battle progressed, I was jamming to the tune - was definitely amping me up. Watching a load of Cactuars/Slactuars swarm down the narrow mountain trail towards me (partially cloacked in the resulting fog, following my Blizzard spell) as the music swelled was both terrifying and epic.

Bruh. it is 2022 and I’m back revisiting Royal Edition, first played FFXV on release. This must have been a DLC add on because I WOULD HAVE REMEMBERED THIS ABSOLUTE BANGER. This instantly became one of my favorite battle themes in the Final Fantasy series.

Came across my first times quest recently and didn't realize it would have such a badass beat to it. The second it started playing something came over me and I was invigorated to kick ass. I spent a good 10 minutes feeling like the most badass thing in Eos.

Kinda hyped me up a bit too much on my 1st timed quest, jumped into the fight, used armigear, killed a lot of things, then i was in close to death situation for the next 3min, because i was fighting enemies 10 levels above me.

What about gladio's Impulse? Sure it's only aimed in a certain direction that they can probably avoid easily,but I swear that thing nails enemies with 9999 damage every time I use it.

It does take three tech bars to use,but the damage output is really worth it depending on the enemies you use it on. If the enemy is resistant to greatswords,it may do less than 9999,but if not,it may deal more.

First time I did a timed quest, entered the area guns blazing with prompto's SMG and this so g got me all hyped. The effect hasn't wore down. I use this song to play Everspace in hardcore mode now and it just feels right.

I tried my first one of these just now, right before beating the game (lvl 43-46 for my party) and I only killed 13 cactuars before being very low on health. These things are no joke! Lol I call it the cactuar massacre, but they were the ones massacring me! I had to flee to survive, and a photo of the battleground where a cactuar is lying dead on the ground and Ignis has a headache is the photo I chose at the end of the game.

Don’t see how people don’t like this? Unexpected but in a good way for me when I did my first timed quest. Gets you hella pumped which I think is the point.. Prefer something unexpected like this over that heavy metal crap inspired Jecht theme in FFX everyone was praising. Now that shit there made me feel like I need to bang my head hard against whatever’s near while sniffing a line of coke and I don’t even do drugs lmfao! That theme really didn’t belong and should’ve been handed over to the Devil May Cry team or something more fitting.
