Well..no, they dont..the LNP and the ALP have vastly different migration & housing policies..you might recall Shorten lost the unloseable election due to the ALP merely considering limiting negative gearing, which upset the right wing media..murdoch who happens to own realestate dot com and fairfax who happen to own domain dot com. The LNP wound back immigration and stopped refugees, in contravention of the UNHRC which Australia is a signatory to while at the same time they spent 6 billion detaining refugees in primitive condistions operated by companies that happened to donate to the LNP. Not sure where you live but you might be surprised to know that Australia has record low unemployment and a uge demand for skilled migration in areas such as health/nursing/doctors/engineers/aged care/building & construction - there's limited housing because there is not enough tradies and there's a demand in aged care because Australia has an ageing population. Australia's population has grown older, with the median age increasing from 32.7 years at 30 June 1992 to 38.5 years at 30 June 2022. The percentage of the population aged 65 and over has increased from 11% to 17% over the same period. Natural increase (number of births minus number of deaths) contributed to almost half of population growth, decreasing from 139,000 people in 1991-92 to 124,000 people in 2021-22: Fertility rates have declined, from 1.86 babies per woman in 1991-92 to 1.69 in 2021-22. Life expectancies at birth have continued to increase, from 74.5 years for males and 80.4 years for females in 1992, to 81.3 years for males and 85.4 years for females in 2019-20. The number of deaths has grown faster than the number of births over this period, reflecting the declining fertility rate and ageing of the population. The 2021 Census of Population and Housing (2021 Census) found that 29% of people in Australia were born overseas and almost half (48%) have a parent born overseas. Im fairly sure the only people who get to complain about immigration are the indigenous people..

Thats not true you know..its not only racists that will vote no..it's also farkwits, morons, newscorp 'readers/viewers', Peter Dutton, Tony Abbott, Reclaim Australia, Advance Australia, One Notion supporters and other white supremacy groups and people who listen to 2GB/3AW etc..and queenslanders who cant understand the concept of daylight savings.. The majority of people look to be voting no and standing with the same people who have no issue making nazi salutes at LGBTQ meetings and wearing swastikas..they claim they are not racists but cant abide the idea that indigenous people, who have been farked over since settlement/colonialisation darfe have a pressnce or a voice, nor do they understand that having a voice wont in any way diminish the voice of the democracy that is run by newscorp, mining companies, pastoral companies, 7 west, fairfax etc. Wecant allow aborigines a voice but we can allow multi nationals and monopolies to not only have a voice but also dictate how we live.
