About 2016 my son moved to Knysna to Pastor the Island Church. There was a lightening strike deep in the deep in accessible forest. A terrible wind blew from the Cape Town area into and this shouldering fire in the forest. It created an inferno in the Garden Route which a forested area and town after town lost many many homes. People were standing in the sea and sea. My sons rented home was burnt to the ground but he took 15 mins to pack essentials documents photo's a laundry basket of clean washing. After the fire help arrived clothing bedding jackets towels blankets etc. My son received financial support from friends overseas as well as in South Africa. They were moved into holiday apartments and eventually were able to re-establish his home. God is so good and I want all who have lost homes to turn to the Lord ..
