That was when virgin river was a perfect show when there was this pure essence to it. The minima characters , no attention to fashion and the small innocent town. Now it’s too many characters, Jacks character has changed and Mel’s too. Too much going on . Season 1/2 the best.

I loved the passion of the scene but was disappointed that they didn’t follow up with a hot sex scene. The next episode just shows them sitting on Mel’s couch and Jacks asleep on her shoulder while she drinks coffee. I felt cheated.

Agree - same thing happened when Jack shows her the Pinterest Cabin and they end with a passionate first kiss. Next scene is coffee at the bar when Jack asks her out on a date! Also horrible editing in Season 2.

I think they were both so emotionally spent at that point and comfortable enough with each other now, that he just crashed on the couch and it was not a show of any less love. It was actually a show of how far they had come in proving their love for each other, so comfortable together...

I might sound like a vanilla dude( even if I am not sure of the strict meaning, but I am moved by this kind of sequence s. It often seems that it is the most simple words that are the hardest to say. As I was passing out ( faintingin2015 due to a stroke) my girlfriend explained me later she felt like she was ripped in half, with this kind of sequences I can relate to what she was trying to explain.
