Probably his most successful song, and he wrote it when he was stuck in traffic on his way home. Way more than a million airplays, and I recently found 130 recordings of “Ruby” by different artists. I’m sure there are more!

Thanks for putting this up. My interest is in Jerry Jeff, do you have any other video of him you could put up. Even several years' after his death, there is a real lack of quality video of him that I have been able to track down ?

I will check and see. Chances are, the only footage I have of Jerry Jeff is from this particular taping of “The Texas Connection “.
