Mel was pretty amazing on the drums for a guy who only played 10 min a night - he had a natural gift - he used his relatively limited chops effectively - great showy drummer and of course, that velvet voice (and sky-blue ‘70s leisure suit to complete the picture as mentioned below 😎)
