My main problem with her is not as much damage but range. Of course she gets easily fed and deals a lot of damage. But if her range was not as long, you could have more chances at challenging her, and avoiding feeding her. I played as Syndra and stomped her, I forgot once about her W in late game and ulted her and one shot myself xD After that I learned to first bait her W before ulting.

the best thing you can do in your game is to ban the new champion. On your team it always be some noob that doesn`t even know how it works. On the enemy team it will be hidden chellenger that will end the game in 15 minutes. You will play it may be later

She’s the most uncreative design we’ve had in like 10 years. Extremely generic line snare, circle AoE + defensive spell that literally half the mages have(Lux, Morgana, Neeko, Zyra, Seraphine, Zyra off the top of my head). The reflect feels tacked on to give her something unique. She adds nothing to the game, 0 reason to exist except to force an Arcane character into League.

No, mathematically they're right, the nerfs aren't crazy. They're looking at how easily she's overkilling prio targets at 1-2 items vs late game. Her overkill late game will likely be unaffected, but now she won't be bursting w/ minimal interaction from her kit. They had to remove enough damage that you had to add an entire extra rotation in mid game. That's going to be a very significant chunk of damage on any character let alone a mage. The issue is that she just dogwalks most mages also really easy to play lol.

I think the nerf was a bit much but her presence in lane due to high base stats and a basically unmissable Q and E was an absolute nightmare. you just kind of had to hope she didn't misplay or else she would poke you down with no risk to herself.

that's because Malz is shortranged af and his execute is like at 15 minion health. Mel can execute minions at higher health while outranging almost every mage in the game with a cockblock ability on top.
