Melanfunk Collective: Performing at Tanks Unplugged. Nov 2014
Ben Hakalitz, long time drummer with Aboriginal rockers Yothu Yindi and his long time PNG compatriot Buruka Tau (Pianist also with Yothu Yindi) have come together to launch this new exciting project band called Melanfunk. With Will Kepa (Bass),Ian Lewerisa (Electric Guitar) and new members Jonah Imani (Guitar) and Vivian Lyons (Vocals), Emmaline Anderson (percussion).Tanks Unplugged - Cairns Regional showcase, produced by Ray Elias from Entertainment Cairns with the great production team from Tanks Arts Centre.
