I might get a little crap for this but I don't care. I'm a big metal head. Sludge, grunge; give it to me. But when I was just a wee lad, my mum played and sang this as an opener at a concert and received a standing ovation. I have never forgotten that feeling of pride I had in her. I don't know how this video ended up on my home screen, but thank you for bringing back a really beautiful memory from my childhood.

The song is from the musical Chess written by Ulvaeus and Anderson from ABBA, and those guys are remarkable musicians with a fantastic creativity and originality, which must be admired. The fact that your mum played it adds another, important personal element so if someone gives you any hard time just tell them to take a hike and you keep enjoying the music...

The Spice Girls don't receive enough credit for their musical talents. Sure, Geri and Victoria weren't powerhouse vocalists, but they performed the majority of their concerts live and recorded both Spice and Spice World before Autotune existed. Melanie C has a touch of Tina Turner and Emma's voice resembles Olivia Newton-John. ❤
