Yes TheValfors BUT all bands, groups and singers lip sync their songs for music videos and these performances because they want to promote the official song you will receive. At this part of the song it usually does a specific music part but it was shortened for the performance. She should have rehearsed it better to remember to lip sync there yes. She was very depressed at this time and gaining weight even though she got a number one hit. So let's be glad that she did a mainly good job here and was having fun.

All singers did this way (they still do presently, likely) for the very reason you've explained, but this doesn't detract here from this great, beautiful, and talented girl. She was in the middle of a hard and unforgiving time, and was behaving absolutely good all considering... lovely Melanie!!
