That is one of the lesser known masterpieces from MK. The interpretation is absolutely gorgeous. It speaks volumes about Knopfler writing. Of course, played by an elite classical guitarist is just magical. You made my day and I thank you!

Goosebumps.... That Dire Straits album was one of my first CDs back in the 80s. I still remember listening to that song with headphones on, when the bass kicks in to the guitar, just before the vocals start. Such a wonderful instrumental cover. Thank you!

Hi Melanie, what a beautiful arrangement en very nice performance of this song. The controlled and relaxed way you play it calls in mind for me the "private investigations" of my inner self. The small vulcanic eruptions that occur in everyday life are smoothed out by acceptance and wisdom. In the end it will all work out.

Thank you very much for this wonderful interpretation of this piece of music. Towards the end I heard fragments similar to those in the classical music of Johann Sebastian Bach. I've been a fan of Dire Straits and Mark Knopfler since 1978, and as I play the guitar myself (not nearly as well as you do), I can appreciate your skills very well. You play with a lot of feeling and empathy, which is very easy to hear.
