Love this song, I've met and dated so many fuckin "mama's boys" it's INSANE. Hell, my dad was that way. His mom, my grandma, ended up being the one to actually properly raise me because he never fucking moved out of her place. I think it's more of an issue with the patriarchy rather than the mom's themselves, but they do play a role. To add on to this, when these men (who are all usually heterosexual) try and find a girlfriend, they usually project these ideas onto their girlfriends and wives, and their partners end up having to fucking mother them.
@rileysjonger4192 Жыл бұрын
Lmfao no, it's not the patriarchy. Lots of the blame falls onto parents- they are the primary caregivers, the ones who heavily influence the child into whatever they will become later in life. Neglectful parents make bad people. There are studies showcasing that male criminals will often have abusive maternal figures; the link between criminality and dysfunctional family dynamics is substantial, i.e., school shooters often have unhealthy family relationships. This isn't feelings, it's statistical facts. This is also true when considering how patriarchal structures in Western environments have been heavily dismantled, and are practically non-existent. Also, wanting traditional wives or having mommy kinks /=/ wanting to be mothered or to fuck your mother. Not how that works. If anything, it's a coping mechanism to make up for the parental neglect they faced by taking control of that aspect of their life, and by that, it involves turning the trauma into something they can use to express through intimacy. Why it is, is the question, but to further explain, many people use sexual/romantic activity as a way to control aspects of their life they once lost from a traumatic experience, i.e., SA victims have a CNC kink, people who have parental issues will often have mommy/daddy kinks, etc.
@Lilylovessillys Жыл бұрын
It gives the vibes of someone who grew up depending on their mother for everything. They grew up needing everything done for them. Finally, they get a girlfriend (an age gap is there) and are forced to move out. Since they needed their mother for everything, now they latch onto the underage gf. The gf is doing everything for him, she is already exhausted with school and having to take on a job. Things get worse, every time she does something wrong in the mans eyes, he does something sexual with her until she ends up pregnant. When the kid is born, they also have to latch onto their mother, making her even more overworked. The man is still sexually abusing her when she slips up until years later she get diagnosed with a deadly disease. She has to stay in hospital, while the child has to stay at home and deal with the dad. She doesn't get cared for properly and wishes her mother out of hospital. It gets to the point where the young girl has to try look after the father, but she doesn't know how to do much. After some time, she gets the news her mother had died. The child has had enough and runs away, never seen again.

Well, this song kinda fits my uncle... Why I say kinda? Well unlike some people in the comments who say that their uncle don't have a job, My uncle has a job. Even though he still lives with my grandma, He tries to help her, He buys her groceries, Gives her money when she needs them, And even spends time with me when my grandma is out. Even though he's 44 soon turning 45 in 6 months, He hasn't moved from my grandma's house yet. My grandma doesn't mind him being around and no, it's not cause he gives her money. Even when he was unemployed, my grandma took care of him. My grandma always says to me this wise phrase, everytime my mom would complain that I'm grown up and I don't need her help even though I'm 14, the phrase goes like this: "No matter how old the child of a mother is, the mother's duty is to take care of him/her." My grandma is 69 going to be 70 in 1 month and I personally think she's the most hard-working woman and the best mother and grandma in the world. And don't think she takes care only my uncle, she takes care of my father as well who's 49 going to be 50 in 4 days when he's sick or needs a helping hand on making lunch for the family. My mom doesn't do anything cause she's mostly in work so that's why my grandma is there for me and dad, meanwhile my brother stays most of the day at the mom's side of the family.

The vibe it gives A 17 year old boy was dating a 18 year old girl and eventually got her pregnant. She begged him to stay and he accepted but it didn’t go the way she wanted. He never got a job to support his family so his wife would get many and he would do drugs behind his family’s back. Whenever his wife would make him dinner he would get mad and when she ask for forgiveness, he would do s3xual things to her infront of their daughter .8 years later, the wife was diagnosed with an awful disease and had to stay in the hospital. During that time, the father would constantly be annoyed about how little food there is and would make the girl go and run errands that only he likes and made her get a job when she was only 8. As he bragged about that to his friends, his daughter got tired of the charades and went to see her mom in the hospital. Later found out that her mother was going to die that day and the news was sent out 3 weeks ago but her dad never told her. As she cried telling her mom not to leave her her mom slowly dies. The girls then runs away from home and was never found.

Rotten Milk" is an unreleased song by Melanie Martinez. It was originally intended to be featured on her debut studio album, Cry Baby. However, it was later scrapped. The full song leaked on July 22nd, 2021. According to the producer, Cubby, the leaked file of the song is missing certain stems. Some stems included in the original 2014 production were corrupted. Although he was able to export the song again in 2021 which led to its leak later that year, he stated that the plugin he used for the drums in 2014 had stopped working on his computer.[citation needed] Theme This song is about a grown man who still relies heavily on his mother and has not learned how to take care of himself. He is depicted as immature and unable to handle adult responsibilities such as buying groceries or finding a job. The song addresses the idea that this behavior is not normal or acceptable, despite the man's belief that it is. The chorus shows his fear of losing his mother and how he feels lost without her. Throughout this song, Melanie mocks the man for still relying on his mother at an adult age and being unable to take care of himself. Lyrics [Verse 1] Twenty five year old watching Looney Tunes Waiting for a job as you play with your food Wondering why your fridge is so full of filth Cookies filled with bugs and cartons of rotten milk [Pre-chorus] Stop whining, you're a grown man Mother needs to let go of your hand Have you heard what's going on outside? Water guns aren't why people die Stop whining, you're a grown man Mother needs to let go of your hand Have you heard what's going on outside? Water guns aren't why people die [Chorus] Mama, mama, please help me Still don't know how to brush my teeth Finding love is hard, you see So mother, don't you die on me Rotten milk tastes good to me Don't know how to buy groceries This is normal, can't you see? But mama, you cannot leave me [Verse 2] Mother's on a walker, still tucks you in Working nine to five, your outline is a sin You're crying for your bottle of Xanax and tequila Finding girls on Craigslist like your ex girl, Rita [Pre-chorus] Stop whining, you're a grown man Mother needs to let go of your hand Have you heard what's going on outside? Water guns aren't why people die Stop whining, you're a grown man Mother needs to let go of your hand Have you heard what's going on outside? Water guns aren't why people die [Chorus] You say "Mama, mama, please help me Still don't know how to brush my teeth Finding love is hard, you see So mother, don't you die on me Rotten milk tastes good to me Don't know how to buy groceries This is normal, can't you see? But mama, you cannot leave me" [Bridge] Rotten teeth, trick or treat Mom, make me food to eat Monsters in the closet Showers from sink faucets My girl's super sweet, seventeen No that ain't a crime to me She makes me Hot Pockets while I play with rockets [Chorus] Mama, mama, please help me Still don't know how to brush my teeth Finding love is hard, you see So mother, don't you die on me Rotten milk tastes good to me Don't know how to buy groceries This is normal, can't you see? this song perfectly describes my ex, no ambitions, lives with his parents and depends on them, doesnt want anything from life but to play games and go to work that doesnt pay well... i honestly feel both bad for him and annoyed at his lack of plans for the future

Well, is he a bad person? What you could be describing is someone whose depressed, which isn’t a bad or “annoying” thing. Many people don’t want anything from life; who could blame them? Life sucks and it’s only going to get worse. But the point is that This song explicitly talks about predatory men who have nothing wrong with them but choose to act like children, are selfish, disrespectful and immature, and don’t treat women right.

This causes me to not only worry about my own contributions to family but my generation as well A little background information I used to work in a apprenticeship until covid hit I still graduated but it took me two years instead of the one year that it normally took and I had to take the other year full of online classes in total I devoted 7 months for something that I thought would get my foot in the door and a paid off well I was about to get a job until they started laying people off for really dumb reasons my mom didn’t want me to actually pick up a job because she knew that I would be attacked for my political beliefs and instead wanted me to stay home and help her which I gladly did I help her in the garden , pick up groceries for her , walk both her dogs , and do various odd jobs around the house that just kinda needed to be tended to anyway I’m autistic so I do get some benefit but at the same time I can’t stop feeling like an absolute slug while listening to this song
