A lot of people didn't get the laughing part. But is not laughing like she is happy but laughing the pain away yk. Sounds like she is in pain while she is being bent or her bones crushing her (being in a box). She adds tiny/big details for a reason, which adds more to the song. Like in spider web she adds bugs noises and spiders. Her laughing in pain makes us realize how much it hurts to change yourself. How she come on saying she was done but in pain throughout the song.
