This video is lovely. Thank you for sharing your inspiring part of the world. My daughter and I are now fully invested in your robin. How fun that he joined you and posed for you!

Wonderful ! I can't wait to learn more about your drawing adventures! Thaks Melanie! Also, I have to wonder if the robin is your spirit animal. I looked this up and found the following: "When a Robin visits you outdoors, such as by landing near you on a walk, it means good luck is coming your way. The more often it happens, the greater the serendipity. Sometimes the same Robin represents a loved one who has recently passed over, telling you all is fine and there is nothing about which to worry. Your loved one is watching over you and wants to see you happy." I hope this is a fortuitous message for you Melanie! Cheers, ❤

Appreciate the sentiment although I really just see it as a wonderful opportunity to interact with a Robin, one of God's precious creatures ❤ and something anyone can experience if they spend some time in nature. 😊

Just listening to the sounds of the waves and gulls was so cathartic. Your sketchbook drawings are full of life and movement which reflect the energy in the wind and waves. That lichen on the tree in the beginning is stunning. I think it’s called Usnea but I don’t know the name of the orange crustose one on the rocks. Thank you for sharing all of this. I’m a landlubber and don’t get to see the sea enough!

Me too just love drawing outside 😍 Thanks for sharing the names I just know them broadly as Lichen. But just looked up the orange yellow scale it's Xanthoria parietina!

The orange on the rocks is amazing. You wouldn't believe it unless you'd seen it, so many thanks for that. And many thanks for the vlog. All good stuff. BTW your friend Natasha sure is a haul and swatch nut! Good luck to you both!

It is amazing to see, always stops me in my tracks. Yes she does love a tube of watercolour! Her and Kriksis! We joked about it recently on our podcast @creativecatchup could do a whole episode on art supplies.

Between Alaska and Yukon Territory of Canada, there is a highway called “top of the world”. There is a high spot just before the border, and it’s truly like top of the world!!!!
