Hi Melanie! I love your crochet tutorials and this table runner was exactly what I have been looking for! I am using double strands of yarn however for a different feel but same look. Connecting the panels tho looked weird with the yarn. I happened to find a gal named.Mama in a Stitch with a drop stitch to connect the panels. Just thought I would pass along an idea that might be helpful. Keep up the fun tutorials... Maybe more Boho Crochet???

Very cool!! I would love to try this out! Do they make macrame cord in different colors? Could it be dyed?
@MelanieHam8 жыл бұрын
r9m24 I saw black and a darker brown, j think it could be dyed? Not sure! I am going to try modifying it a bit, painting it and using it as a wall hanging in my living room! I'll let you know how it goes :)

I swear this is what Katya wore in the episode yesterday for rupauls drag race all stars season 2 and it was beautiful.

Thank you for the tutorial. I'm going to try to make one mylsef. How big did you make yours? Per the beautiful pictures it looked like the table was long. My table is small so I'm thinking I don't need 8 spools.

Hey! How did you start weaving the panels together? Did you have to make a knot to begin it?
@chloedelepine25983 жыл бұрын
I would also love help on how to attach the fringe panels on! I guess I struggle in general knowing how to attach things 😜

8-9 spools of that cord at 7.99 a pop gets to be quite expensive! And I checked Joannes coupons, they are lousy and won’t help much with the price. in fact, this cord seems to be excluded from certain coupons! Ugh. I could buy a table runner, already done, for that price!
