It's one of my favorite covers they've done. I'm sure you would love it too. This video was shot years ago and they were so young but you could see the heavenly harmonies were already there. yes but Stell had made it higher than Pablo did as it couldn't be the same higher if Pablo will do it as it should be done by Regine where Pablo pitch could not hit higher than Regine that' s why it was sang by Stell at that moment to reach their goal to highlight the highest part than Regine.

​@@jazstell1916 I agree. Stell's voice sat at E5 at least (could be higher) in mixed (or could be chest) voice. This puts him in the same pitch as Regine's, considering he is a countertenor. If it was Pablo, he might be able to hit a lower key (C5 as the highest) provided that there proper technique and momentum involved to create a clean transition and resonance 😊

Helpful tip on stress in Filipino words: Filipino words are almost always stressed on the second to the last syllable but with exceptions of course. So it is "nag-a-A-ral ako A-raw A-raw" with stress on capital letter A.

Commenting while watching. Kudos to you Melanie for trying hard to learn the language. One thing to note when pronouncing Tagalog is to remember that we "usually" pronounce each syllable lazily. Also, the placement of stress in the syllables is very important and can only be learned when you communicate directly or listening (in the case of NAG-AARAL, the stress is on nag-aAral) coz we have a lot of terms that are HETERONYMS. Example: baBA (down) and BAba (chin).

Exactly, the first thing you need to do to learn and be familiar with the language is to speak, doesn't matter if it is gramatically wrong at first because that is what it's supposed to be, just use the new words you learn often, and listen and learn how the native speakers speak. Eventually, you'll notice that conversations are getting easier but technically that's not the case, it's JUST YOU GETTING BETTER. 😊

Filipino is easy to pronounce. It is syllabic. We only have 5 vowel sounds. And those are paired to consonants. When there are 2 vowels together, the first vowel is paired to the consonant following it and the 2nd vowel is pronounced by itself. Except for prefix "mag- or nag-" the vowel is not attached to "g". Nag-aaral (nag- a-a-ral) = meaning learning Mag-aaral (mag-a-a-ral) going to learn ... or another word for "student". The first pairing I mentioned is the basics of pronunciation. At least that was how I was taught as a child. Good luck!
