Brandon does dance in an exaggerated and self-important way. But his whole appearance - big head, broad shoulders, short neck, flashy clothing and joy of life make me believe he is an authentic macho wanting to impress the female in front of him. So in the end not an artistic performance, yet a playful courtship most fitting for salsa dancing in a club.

The man has serious skills but it looks like it’s all about him. Let the lady shine ✨ and make her smile. She would enjoy the 💃 dance more and you would look 👀 much better.. you would be pleasurable to dance with and she would even ask you to dance next time.

Brandon Ayala is so technically skilled, and yet he is the worst lead. It looks terrible and he clearly doesn't understand that he's just the frame and the follow is the painting.

Melany Mercedes is a beautiful dancer but the male lead is horrible. He's trying show off in front of the camera and basically ruined the dance. There's no flow. It's too choppy and exaggerated! I would never take lessons from him.
