We have been using the machine twice daily for 5 months now and it is great. We recommend to anyone thinking of getting a small machine :-)

Hello All, hope your keeping all fit and well. Wow that is one lovely piece of kit for the job ! its very exciting to get the right thing for jobs when homesteading. When i had pygmy goats we did use to milk them, only around half a pint per goat though ! ha ha, we turned an electric breast pump into a milking machine, the collection vessel was an old large pickle onion jar. It worked well but not really worth the faffing about as they were pygmy. they did not enjoy standing still. Keep safe and well, take care.

Hiya Gaz, we’re all good thanks. You? We used to have Saanen goats but milked by hand, my one little goat was giving 6L/day at one point! Going to see how the cow compares. Looking forward to homemade butter, cheese, cream and more :-) looking forward to your next video, we always end up having a right giggle :-)

Impressed with how quiet that is it might be worth considering if you are gonna milk twice a day to get some red label hyperchlorite for doing a quick wash at night and getting an alkaline wash for once a week ( if your normal wash is an acid wash) and also a tub of milkstone remover and use that once a week. Kiwi Kit does some good stuff from New Zealand. I'm gonna enjoy seeing what you get up to and all your back catalogue as your doing what I would love to do.
