It feels like she can't be real and tell her truth because she doesn't want to step on people toes. Also it feels like her daughter has no loyalty to her and love her dad more. Which is strange since he treated Melba awlful and used her all throughout their marriage.

Why this interviewer pointing her finger constantly and deliberately disrespecting Melba Moore with her ignant no interviewing self. It was like she indicting Melba or prosecutorially dictating to her, as in court, about what she knew and did not know about her ex-husband. .It made me cringe. Melba handled it well but it would’ve been understandable had she ended this horrific interview.

Melba didn't seem comfortable during the interview. It seems like she didn't like the line of questioning of the interviewer. Also, the interviewing skills of BaLinda were very elementary. The show appeared to be a college project for her broadcast journalism class, and she spoke with a lisp,

Melba won a TONY award, NOT an Emmy award, for her portrayal of Lutiebelle GussieMae Jenkins in the Broadway musical "Purlie". Also, her co-star in "PURLIE", whom you referenced, that later starred in the movie, "Blazing Saddles", alongside Gene Wilder, is named CLEAVON Little, NOT Calvin Little. These are only corrections. Melba Moore is a lady, so multi faceted and talented, with so many achievements, and still so humble, and above all, open to her fans, and willing to connect with them. My practice as a talk show host and presenter, is to always make it about the respect of the guest, make them feel comfortable, and not feel like they are being ambushed, interrogated and above all embarrassed. These talk show hosts need to understand, they don't need to ask the risqué questions, just to sensationalise their show, the one that dared to ask the question, at the compromise of their guests dignity. it was an hard road for you but I remember you and Clifton were in a musical was presented by Mobil oil, journey among the stars on PBS. you sing that song asbalom,played by Davis and I was pleased to see that show but I had to get the knowledge and it was filmed in South Africa at the height of apartheid. I want to do a remake of journey among the stars and put Toni Braxton as Ellie and chris brown.
