And with all the money going to the government coffers they can’t even get the train line built to the airport. This has been the issue since the establishment of the current airport in the 60s, 60 years + of dithering.

The buses are pretty good. Eventually they are planning on a Train line from the Airport to Melbourne City. That may take a few years :)

Yeah we didn't explore the entire Airport unfortunately... Maybe save them for another visit when it isn't as busy.. Glad you enjoyed it.. Might do one on Flinders St Station, thanks for the idea... :)

Isabelle Hello there... From Memory Arrivals are all on ground level... Simply you can walk across into each building, However.... they were doing renovations when I made this video... So, to get to each building you can simply walk outside onto the road “Arrival Drive” and enter through a different doorway into the Terminal building you wish to go into... Another method is to go up a level and walk across to T2 and grab an escalator down to T2 arrivals... Hope that helps.. 😎👍

Yes International Departures are in the 1st Floor in the centre Terminal building and on both sides are the Domestic Departures. Arrivals are on the ground floor :)

Alexandre Lucas Coelho The Airport was built in 1970 so it’s being updated all the time.. It does get confusing when it’s busy.. If you go when it’s quite it’s much easier to navigate.. Thanks for watching.. 😎👍

I have not taken the Bus from the Airport but from what I have read the Public Transport Buses are located in front of Terminal 4 Building. Would only take 5-10 mins to walk there from Terminal 2. I like the Airport as well. However with this Covid crap going on, you can't just go there for a visit. The people that do go all have to adhere to wearing masks and staying away from each other. I hope it ends soon. :). Stay Safe

I wish I could say favourable things about Melbourne Airport. But I have just now realised how lacking our airport infrastructure is. No rail link, the entire forecourt is an ugly mess, traffic can be a nightmare, and the experience doesn't get much better inside. International departures is ok, but the arrivals hall is quite poor. It will be interesting to see what Melbourne Airport looks in 20 or so years, because there appears to be no great desire to completely replace what will by then be a 70 year old main terminal complex.

Agree it has to be upgraded. They are doing things to it now which hopefully will only improve it. A 3rd Runway will bring many more people to it. Once this virus is over. My biggest issue is Parking and how expensive it is. They have Wilson parking charging what ever they like. I must say I left in 2019 for Europe and the Main Departure area once you pass through security is actually pretty good.. Thanks for watching :)

Most shittest airport so congested really confusing. Parking is a nightmare. Not trains and only accessible by car and charter bus. If your driving a car if you take a wrong turn as approaching the airport your completely finished. Airport allways has delays because of air traffic. Was waiting for someone to arrive from Sydney with virgin and waiting at the gate in terminal 3. Before during and all the way through the flight it said it would land at terminal three in one of the gates. As it landed due to air traffic they parked and arrived the plane at a completely different terminal and we had to walk a good 15 mins because terminal 4 is seperate to 1,2,3. Not too mention the flight was delayed by 1 hour and 30 minutes because of air traffic in Melbourne

Anna Stasi Travel Can’t really argue there.. During busy periods the place is a mad house.. I guess that’s one of the reasons they are putting in a 3rd runway and extending the airport buildings as well.. As for parking it’s disgustingly high priced. I was there for 1hr and 10mins and was charged for 3 hrs ($24).. The roads in can get a little confusing especially for people not from Melbourne.. I took a different exit off the freeway once and ended up near the long term parking instead of the airport terminal. Hopefully we all have safe flights in and out of Melbourne..
