Really not sure about the industrial scale of yellow ceiling beams, they could at least choose different colours for different areas of the terminal - so it isn't reminiscent of a disused automotive factory. It's probably best that Hassel doesn't design the cafés and shops - those spaces are pretty underwhelming. The absence of staff seems to include security, which seems unlikely - perhaps they would deter people from riding up the middle of escalators like in the video.

I will going to shanghai visit melbourne airport in April 16 and 17 because in April 16 i going to do covid test with my mom then April 17 back to shanghai I will back to melbourne june 18

Looks rather budget; certainly not a world-class airport terminal. Heck, you can see exposed services in the ceiling. Seems that cost was the primary focus with this new terminal. I hope premium airlines like VA and QF don't choose to operate here.
