Melbourne Lord Mayor slammed for saying COVID made the city 'better'

Melbourne Lord Mayor Sally Capp claiming COVID made Melbourne a "better" place to live is a "glimpse" into Victoria for the rest of the country, says Sky News host Rowan Dean.
Ms Capp in a TEDx talk on Friday said “because of the hardship and devastation of the pandemic", the community "imagined and accelerated Melbourne as a bolder, braver, better place”.
“So all you people who suffered in Melbourne during COVID, people who lost loved ones etcetera, etcetera, don’t worry … you’ve made Melbourne a better place to live," Mr Dean said.
