Really love this idea. Awesome video. I started playing Slippi this year. Before slippi I hadn't played melee in over a year. My scene changed to strictly ultimate. This year though Melee had a huge comeback.

What a year for Melee! Slippi, SCL, Rona Rumbles, LACS, #SaveSmash and #SaveMelee, Big donations for a good cause, Metagame premiere on twitch. Rona made life tough and the Melee scene and community made it just a lil bit more bearable. Thanks to all of you.

What I'm going to remember from 2020 Melee: Fizzi, HomeMadeWaffles and Ludwig saved Melee A new #1 player for the year in Zain, which didn't happen since 2011 Bronol's 5 gods documentary (hope all episodes will soon be subtitled in English so everyone can enjoy them) And of course, sick Melee everywhere Oh, and I hosted my first tournament (even if it was an 8-person Ultimate one ^^)

Very cool edit. Some problems imho tho: The music was hella loud, especially in the begining, and if it overpowers the commentary so much, it's kind of overwhelming idk. Also, maybe this is just personal preference, but generic electro house has been done to death, and I don't even think it fits melee as well as hip hop or even drum and bass does, for example.

All fair points and I appreciate the constructive feedback. I tried making the music the main background for the beginning but thought the commentary mixed in well some places, though muting commentary or toning down music and focusing on the commentary more often may have worked better. Either way, hope it was still enjoyable
