Uno de los grupos mas infravaloradas, es desconcertante como la calidad no solo es suficiente para la industria, pero creo sin temor a equivocarme, en que se consolidaran como un grupo de culto. Hecho por 4 mujeres que tienen que expresarse de magnifica manera. Desde Mexico deseo el éxito que se merecen en lo laboral y personal. Melenas es una de nuestras bandas más internacionales, por algo en 2021 les concedieron el prestigioso MME Award. Acaban de ofrecer algunos detalles de su tercer disco. "Ahora" se lanzará el 29 de septiembre a través del sello de Chicago Troubled in Mind. Según indican el nuevo trabajo ofrecerá una propuesta de "jangle pop y garage rock hecha con sintetizadores" y, conceptualmente, tratará sobre "la importancia del tiempo para reflexionar sobre cómo vivimos nuestro día a día, con quién compartimos nuestros momentos y cómo queremos hacerlo". El primer adelanto del disco, "Bang", suena seductor con esos sintetizadores rotundos, propios del krautrock, en una oda a la palabra "No", sobre la que gira la letra de la canción: "Bang refleja la felicidad y liberación que se siente al decir NO: NO como un acto poderoso frente a lo que no nos hace bien y nos desvía de nuestro camino, de nuestro ahora, cerrando la puerta a situaciones, personas o palabras que como “flechas y balas, suenan y se van”. Ese NO cobra más sentido y rotundidad si es grupal, apoyado, compartido: se transforma en un VAMOS, JUNTAS, FUERTES, ADELANTE". Música independiente novedades.
