This is a pretty nice hotel for the $ especially if you book well in advance. Great beach, beautiful grounds and pool. Rooms are getting a bit tired but not terrible. Food IMO is above average for an all inclusive in this price range. Drinks are mediocre as they use local/non name brand alcohol unless you upgrade to the level pkg. (even then you only get premium stuff in the level lounge and the level bar/restaurant) If you drink beer, or blender drinks or rum its fine. If you like good cocktails/ premium brand alcohol get the level upgrade. Service was quite good and staff quite friendly. This is a large resort (20 min walk from lobby to beach/pool, there are trolleys) I highly recommend a beachside room as they are closer to the pool/beach and the breakfast/lunch buffet. Poolside rooms (are not near the pool) are closer to lobby so a bit inconvenient if you spend most of your day in pool/beach area and want to go back to your room for anything. This is a very quiet resort (which I loved). A bit of nightlife in lobby each night but not a party place. Overall a lovely place I wouldn't hesitate to return.
