Pretty solid vocal tutorial of Unbreak my Heart. The only thing I would say/critique is the sustained D5 belt proceeding the final chorus of the song in the phrase "[Without you I just can't go] On" during "On" when she sustains that note, it's a very crucial note to sustain if you want to nail this song, as it's the climax of the song. It's a deceptively difficult note(s) to replicate, but I think you missed it just a bit there. It opens right out the gate with a very belty D5 combined into 2 notes, with 3 swoops during the sustained note/run to a C5 swooping up to the D5 3 times making for a total of 4 (technically more if you count the paired D5 notes) D5s before the closing riff on the note. It's really important, at least in terms of accuracy, that this note gets sustained and not stopped between each of the D5 peaks on the note. It's very difficult but very important to sustain this instead of ending the note multiple times like in the video here. This is where one's vocal prowess and control comes into play, but Toni decrescendos the note at the end of the D5 to give that impression of ending the note, but she never actually ends it, just decrescendos (lowering of the volume/power for newer or learning vocalists) during the note as it swoops down in pitch to the C5 and when the swoop is increasing in pitch, she crescendos (raising the volume/power) right when the note reaches back to the paired D5 notes, the latter note being the sustained one aside from the closing riff to this sustained note. It sounds more complicated than it is, but by no means is it a simple belt to master. But it really sets the emotion and tone for the climax to the song and was well chosen and placed during this run to conclude and emphasize her message in the song. The vocal technique behind it is to capture the emotion of how she "Can't go on" but she wants to emphasize not only the raw emotion and urgency of saying that she truly "can't go on" [without him], but that she's fighting and battling and really trying to drive that message home. But, she also is showing that she is vulnerable and struggling with the decrescendo/crescendo techniques as I had mentioned earlier where the decrescendo is showing her struggle and vulnerability and how she is almost at the breaking point/about to give up, but then she comes back with the power showing that she is fighting and that she's not ready to give up. She does this multiple times. Taking away those crescendos/decrescendos and replacing them with separate notes/breaks kind of dilutes the struggle between feeling powerless while still trying to fight and becomes more just a powerful belt and a vocal showcase over really capturing the emotion of that note and the climax of the song.
