So many thoughts and feelings arose while watching this video Melinda. Firstly, how I wish we could all gather and give you a big hug! And secondly, how much I felt every word of this (including the music), as if it were my own. I understand so much the frustration of dealing with a body that’s not doing what you want it to do. I’m a few days away from turning 29, and my entire 20’s have been dealing with chronic illness. Only this past few months I actually got a diagnosis, a rare neurological condition that affects 1 in 100,000 people. I have been in and out of the drs offices, putting my good faith in them like you are now. I did the CT’s like you’re about to do (by the way it’s totally easy), and spinal taps and so much more. Now medications and trying to have patience while I’m continuing to be in emotional and physical pain. I share this vulnerability because I wanted to share that you’re not alone in what you’re going through. I see so much beauty and strength and resiliency in you. I also smiled when you said you just want to get on the other side so you can share a small victory. I’ve put down my music and my KZbin videos for the same reason. But I want to say - even this little video has so much power behind it. So thank you. And we love you.

You are a great inspiration to all of us I will be praying for you. My mom had the heart issues and was passed down to my brother that I lost before he was 50 and my sister before she was 64 and my other sister she is still with me. I’m going to have a cat scan on my heart February 12 to check on blockages instead of doing a catherization because they are to risky my doctor says. My husband had two blockages and has stents he now has congestive heart failure. And we are in our early 50’s . God only gives us what we can handle they say. Well I don’t know about all that my days of having horses are over because of back issues and I give you so much credit for all you do it’s not like I’m giving up my body is telling me no more . I have a spinal stimulator in my back for pain and that’s not even working anymore. You are a breath of fresh air with all the right words and the way you just keep at it . I love listening to you play music and I am so glad you have the attitude to keep going I believe God has plans for you yet so when you say that your not done yet you are so right ! Your posting is a victory for me, it came just as I need to have my soul taken away to hear you play. I miss my Uncle’s playing as I was young. I’m 74 as of last Christmas & today 1/18/25 the piano took me away is tears or joy much like Uncle Roger A. LeGassie would every Christmas holiday. Never got to the Linkon Center to experience him play in concert for the AEC Christmas Concert. Oh well another life I’m sure. That was beautiful, absolutely beautiful. And when you were done playing, I looked at those eyes of yours and again I said “beautiful”. You really are quite a woman. You’re not alone ya know. I’m 62 now and I’ve already got a stent in my heart, most days I forget it’s even in there. But lately I’m just so tired all the time, the Spirit is willing but midway through the day my body says go sit down. I don’t watch tv, or play games so sitting makes me crazy. There’s too much to do. Anyways, I just wanted to send a little hug from my heart to yours. I don’t remember the last time I had a hug, so I know how precious they are. Exactly what I needed! I’ve been very emotional today. I finally found a surgeon who listened to me and removed the benign-for-now-lump on Dec 4. Yesterday (Jan 17), I finally saw an oncology-geneticist who listened to me, and I have a prescription plan of action. I don’t do prescriptions unless absolutely necessary (mom and grandma were nurses), and the stress relief has had me in tears more than once today.
