With the fabulous Philip Sayce on guitar, but the other band members are not bad either ;-) Melissa Etheridge always found great band members and this band absolutely rocked. I watched this show in Amsterdam (HMH), lots of energy...fun memories! Very nice that someone in NYC made this bootleg which starts a bit shaky but it soon gets better. I love watching Melissa play. Watching someone perform that truly loves what they do makes it a treasure chest, and we get to reopen over & over. Melissa is pure greatness. And she deserves to be in the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame 💯🎤🎸🥁☮️🏳️‍🌈❣️

Okay this raises a question. Why in the name of all things holy did the editors of the official Lucky Live concert DVD edit out all of the non Lucky specific tracks? Lucky is my personal favorite of her albums (and I generally think it’s not treated with the respect it deserves) but I always found it strange that she didn’t feature any classic songs on the tour. This video proves that she did. They were just cut from the official DVD release. I will say that I give high marks to the editors, because I can’t find any evidence of songs being cut. Unless of course she actually did a special version of the show for the official release that featured only songs from the Lucky album. But I don’t know why she would do that.

i went to the one she did at the norva here in virginia and the promoters for the tour at the time said she did a dvd taping especially for that show for the lucky tour and they said that were shooting the full show for the dvd so they only did the songs from the lucky album
