Melissa McCarthy Woke Up with a Mysterious Allergic Reaction

Melissa McCarthy has been living in Australia for the past few months, and talked with Ellen about all of the insects and animals Down Under that are can be dangerous, including spiders, snakes, and water dragons. The actress recalled a frightening incident in which she woke up in the middle of the night to a massive allergic reaction... and most of her body blew up in size!

Ellen, be reassured. You don't have to be bitten ON your face for your face to swell up. I have allergies and if I'm bitten anywhere: arm, stomach, leg, my face swells up. ---- so unless you see a bite mark ON your face, the bug that bit you was not necessarily climbing ON your face.

No, water dragons are a completely different reptile. They live on the east coast of Australia, from Victoria, New South Wales and Queensland. They can grown pretty large, relatively harmless though.
