This really gives me hope. Seeing so many channels on KZbin that exploit these poor souls is heartbreaking. I pray people watch your videos and become educated enough to quit supporting the monkey abusers on social media.

@brendaflo4033 aww bless. The abuse is horrific isn't it. I also don't understand it at all. There's literally no empathy there for these animals. I've also fallen for long tails.. they have such funny characters and really are sweet once they get to know you. I'm going to the rescue centre in Bali tomorrow so I'll be meeting all of the long tails there and sharing their stories 😀

Question: You mention sterilizing her but I thought the BMR does similar rehabilitate and release of primates back to the wild like Ellis Park and the Sumatra Wildlife Center (JAAN)? Wouldn't she benefit by being integrated to a troop or released where she was taken rather than be in a sanctuary permanently? Thank you again.

@MichaelYuhas hiya. Good question. So she will join a group which will be formed at the rescue centre and then released. If she were just released back to where she was taken, as a solo monkey she would be killed almost straight away. The unit she once belonged to wouldn't just accept her back sadly. So yes, they do release them back, but they have to do that once a group have been formed and have bonded at the rescue centre, and there needs to be at least 8 or 9 monkeys in the group to be able to hold their own once they are released. I hope that makes sense and answers your question but let me know if not 😁

@@Monkey_Rescue_Tales Let's just say that they're some sick sociopaths and a dark pay 4 view channels. I would never pay to watch buy have heard enough to make me physically ill. If the viewers,some,didn't want the demand it wouldn't be profitable. I have read 1000s of comments about what specifically to do to baby monkeys regarding torture. I cant understand why people would think up those things let alone send money to watch.

@swanofusk9314 she hasn't been quarantined at her temporary home in lombok.. I'm unsure if she needs to be before she's introduced to the monkeys at the rescue centre in Bali but I'm going there tomorrow so I can find out 😊

@@Monkey_Rescue_Talesit is unfortunately and what’s worse is I’ve seen a shift towards Bear or stump tail Macaques as they are very pale skinned/furred at birth so they look very baby human like. It’s got so bad that they are being trafficked from their natural ranges into areas where they arnt native. There has been three released in the environs of Ankor Wat in the last couple of months. The problem is that they seem to mature earlier than the long or pig tales so by 9-12 months they are becoming very aggressive. Being dumped in a colony of long tails causes havoc, they are bigger, and ready to fight, plus of course they know nothing about how to be a monkey. SA by the channel owner is common which presents in their interactions with other Monkeys too. It’s to appeal to the gropers as well as increase traffic, outrage gets more clicks than wholesome content. It’s heartbreaking that YT does little to stop this. It can take weeks of reporting to get a video removed,let alone the channel. And the abusers just start another channel. Sorry to rant on but it makes me so mad 😡. You are doing a wonderful thing working with Bali Monkey Rescue, and I really wish you well in your efforts! A word of caution though, there are some really “difficult” people on here who will accuse rescuers of being as bad as the abusers no matter what you say or show in your defence. I am aware of a group that will target their latest victim and will do everything they can to get you removed. I follow someone who rehabs sick infants and he’s had endless problems with them, they will get banned but make new accounts and it all starts up again. Crazy when everyone wants the same, healthy colonies of monkeys and no trafficking!!! I’m sure nothing I’ve said is news to Bali Rescue, I expect they have seen it all in the work they do which is so necessary in the world be live in. I really hope you make a difference for these poor tortured little souls, they deserve a chance to live in the wild with family. Good luck ❤
