I have enjoyed him in 3:00 all of the roles I've seen him play. He is quite versatile even though he looks so nerdy. (I like nerds, don't get me wrong.) 🙂 His emotional range in acting is impressive.

Retarded was actually a medical diagnosis back then. There were no negative connotations attached to it in the medical world. The definition of the word retarded is slow so from my perspective there is no difference, sadly the term developed a derogatory connotation.
