Hi! this helped me a lot because i just got into makeup late last year and just got me a highlight palet ! i don’t usually wear foundation because i don’t really know how to or what shade to get etc . so thank you !

Hey :) I'm happy to hear that the video was helpful! :) As for your foundation, you may want to try a tinted moisturiser, BB/CC cream instead of using a foundation, just to even out your skin tone and not so much about the coverage! :) - Just a tip :)

I have a lot of highlighters but are so luminous. I'm going to look for a new one like this Because I lose a lot of time using many makeup products.

Keeping it simple and light is the best way to go! Don't forget to look out for testers or samples so that you have an idea of what it is before buying it!😊

I’m a boy and I just want to wear highlighter so it accents my face and cheekbones but I also don’t want people questioning me that I’m wearing makeup. I want it to look natural ya know. Can I wear highlighter without people thinking I’m wearing makeup??? Also, do you think I could wear foundation without people thinking I’m wearing makeup?? I just want to have a even skin tone 😭
@MelissaVanDijkTheSkinDiet4 жыл бұрын
Hey😊 Yes, you can wear highlighter! I recommend using a large fluffy face brush to apply it so that it won't look too obvious and intense in one place as you can blend it much better! - Just as I showed it in the video. Also, you may want to look into BB creams or tinted moisturisers or hydrating foundations. It's important that you do not use too much product otherwise it will be noticeable.

Idk how dark your skin is but I use baby powder instead of foundation. And if you put it on top of highlighter it makes it more natural

Could you recommend an alternative cream or liquid highlighter please? I have dry eczema prone skin and don't like powder products. Also can I wear both highlighter and blush? It would be cool if you could do a video if you can. I find your tutorials so helpful. Thankyou 😁.

Hey again! :) As for cream highlighter, I just use a Champagne Cream Eyeshadow and use it like a cream highlighter. It works great for me! Such as using Kikos or Revlon's Cream Eyeshadows. As for cream blush, using a sheer tinted lipstick or lip balm can do it as well, or just look out for cream blushes in general :)

Interesting. Ive never seen anyone apply highlighter with such a large brush.

It's a great way to get that ''overall'' glow but I personally just use it with subtle highlighters, if they are too intense then it just looks to heavy and too much😊

@@MelissaVanDijkTheSkinDiet I have one. I will try your technique, with one highlighter by Maybelline, that looks similar to that Revlon. I bought it last year. I used it once with a blush brush, and didn't like the result. It was too much to my liking. I'll give it another try, using that brush. ☺️Thanks, Melissa. Sorry for not commenting often. My YT account has been compromised. Some of my previous comments were deleted.

@@msspade1324 Use a tiny bit of highlighter so that it won't look like you've used too much, it also depends on the highlighter, you might also just need to swirl the brush through it once and that's it! - Love the brush for it, it's just such a multi-purpose brush😅 How did that happen?🤔I thought that I've lost you😢
@msspade13244 жыл бұрын
@@MelissaVanDijkTheSkinDiet No, you didn't lose me. I'm always watching your vids. I was hesitant to comment, because of the deletion. I really don't know what caused it. It might have been that I had the google+(it's obselete now) connected to this account, or my comment to one of the bashers.😁 Fingers crossed that YT fixed the problem. I sent them multiple messages. Hopefully, one got through to them. I will try that technique soon. I'll keep you posted. Does the revlon have a slight shimmer on it? Maybelline has some shimmer squares mixed with mattes.

@@msspade1324 thank god!😅 Hmm...that's so strange! I really hope that they can solve it! For now, I do see your comments and none of them landed in the Spam section, which sometimes happens with comments and then I have to review them before posting or if it's real spam to report or delete! Yeah, the revlon has shimmer and a few "matte" tones they aren't 100% matte but it's softer to keep it subtle, the rose glow has also a rose shade in it, which isn't really pigmented but it adds a tiny bit of color😊

Which highlighter is good for bare skin... Powder Or cream highlighter??
@MelissaVanDijkTheSkinDiet3 жыл бұрын
Both :) It depends on what texture and finish you prefer! :)
