I save everything I make in my DAW, no matter if it's a 1 bar idea, a basic drum beat, a half finished song, or a few samples bunched together,... Every few months I browse through my list of projects. Guaranteed at least a few of them will inspire me to work on or actually turn into a finished song.

Or we can simply export stems / clips / midis, make our own sample packs with pre-made song bits, then we listen to these often. For every unfinished tracks, I export its stems, midi, clips, presets, etc. Then when I make songs, I can pick and choose from my past stuff like they're pre-made loops to get things going.

Good thoughts about the music. That's exactly what I've been practicing. Come up with a cool idea, overcrowd it with unnecessary sounds and abandon the idea because you don't know what you're doing.

back when I used to use FL, since it has clone arrangement feature, I used to make a listenable loop of drop and then over time when I got back to it and wanted to make different idea in same style, I cloned arrangement, duplicated patterns and changed into the way I want it. Something similar to what you are showing here

I dont have any projects for sale. Some videos have more detail but there is no secret to any of this, eqing is important and I like adding distortion to the leads and thats pretty much it

I feel like the problem I have with this point of view is, when you start an idea, and than "stop working on it" and start a new idea, you're never really going to get anything done. You're just making it worse for yourself instead of just forcing to finish it and see it through to the point. imo, this isn't a good work ethic.
