I've never made it with pastry. I make something like sweet dumplings. Pop that in the pot, leave them to rise and serve with cinnamon and sugar! LOVE IT!!!

Similar to maizena (corn flour pudding) from my native Portugal. Try adding lemon rinds to your milk at the beginning. Thank you for the demonstration.
