3:58 not only that, players will have a harder time to spot the ASW helicopters since they got a low radar signature which they could only be detectes by high level frigates or getting inside the sight range of any vessel/aircraft, but also the player that actively uses the ASW helicopters will have an advantage on that since it got a decent build in radar/sonar to detect air, naval and even ground contacts to be aware of them first

Especially now with the Elite Frigate to carry a few of them, effectively increasing their operational range beyond it's previous land-based limitations. I've quite enjoyed using the Elite Frigate + ASW Helicopter in my recent games. Though if that Moroccan naval guy had used an Elite Frigate in his Officer stack it would have detected the ASW helicopters too. I don't think it was a good example for the ASW helicopter to be totally honest as he wasn't at war with the Moroccan ships therefore they were not a threat and the ballistic missile subs had no anti-air defences anyway, so even without the ships present he would have sunk those submarines. Just saying; as far as tactics go he could have had the same effect with Naval Patrol Aircraft as he started the attack at peace with both Spain and Morocco, right? If he tried to do this while already at war it wouldn't be as effective as they would likely be intercepted on enroute to their target. Entertaining video nonetheless. I also liked the infantry hit & run tactic, useful in some situations but neglects to mention to any would be new-players the Rush function consumes 5% of your stacks HP per hour while active, the bigger your stack's HP the larger that 5% becomes.. again, just saying, it's worth mentioning why he was toggling it to those that don't know..

Elite frigates will see them at lvl 1 so there is that. Awacs is the real threat of course. Also bare in mind asw attack at 40 range for their patrol which is the same as most naval besides elite subs - bigger sight range, naval officer - smaller sight range, and attack or bm subs. So they will be visible more often than not when the attack lands even if using patrol to attack. You are right though with advantage to being active which is always true. It’s almost never better to be inactive unless you really suck lol. Air especially though. If inactive and patrolling you’re visible from farther away than if you were active and constantly moving your planes around.

The part where you destroyed jets on the ground is great. I managed to do something similar: catch enemy infantry and recon airlift planes in the air with my ASFs. 2 infantry units and 2 recon units eliminated in a single blow and in earlier stages of the game thats lovely to see :)

Hi Melliodas, players and game creators. My nick name is i.wolfman in the game. I play more than 3 years and has a membership in security council. This game gives me the chance to rule one of the country in the world and have a good war with other players with huge amount of units. I have been noticing about 1 year that game designers reduce economics more and more so the gameplay becomes more boring. Why? Low economics gives low quantity of units, wars and interest. Why game creators do that? They think that if they reduce economics people will start to buy more gold but they are starting use 2nd account and play overkill maps and gain gold from it. It confirm resent 10x and 7x maps where I can produce 3-4 national guards and 1 plane in one real day. Not too much for having good fight or protect my ports. No problem guys. Reduce economics more and more and think that people spend more money in the game but I think they will seek alternatives more and more too. But I can not only criticise the game. I offer the way how to increase your revenue. Create the map for security council members only with good economics, 1x, 4x and 6x speed. So you can give players the choice to play free maps with everage economics and buy membership and play a real battle. 2:15 Comment on your point 1: "Always attack on a straightline". I don't think this is 100% precise. The 100% precise statement is like this: define Angle of Attack (AoA) as the (acute) angle between your velocity vector (v1) and the segment (s) between your MRL and your target. Then, you should do hit& run in such a way that your AoA is smaller than your target's AoA. This way, the projection of your velocity on s is bigger than the projection of your enemy's velocity vector on s, so effectively you move faster than your enemy. The reason why Cameroon is doing it wrong is that his AoA is bigger than the target's AoA, so effectively he moves slower than target. (you need to know some geometry/high school physics to understand what I'm talking) Furthermore, I only play 1x games but somehow I find that using the stop button (to let MRL automatically shoot at radar signature) allows you to attack a little bit earlier than using the attack button.

love the video, but the ASW helicopter wasn't really a skill, just a good decision to not declare war yet. The EAA+ASF strategy helped to my first solo win so that definitely works.

@@MelliodasGaming As I said in a post above, you could have had the same effect using Naval Patrol Aircraft as you were at peace with both nations when initiating the attack. Knowing when to attack isn't a skill it's a matter of education and experience, manipulating your environment is all you did here. For example, if you used Naval Patrol Aircraft they would also sink the submarines instantly upon attacking and the moroccan naval ships wouldn't counter attack as you only declared war on spain, but as I mentioned in the post above, if that Moroccan stack had Elite Frigates within it, they would also have the capability to detect and effectively engage your ASW Helicopters much the same as a regular frigate can detect & engage Naval Patrol Aircraft, thus the only way either would survive is retaining peace with Morocco until they are safely out of it's range.. This wasn't a skill, more a demonstration of timing your first attack, which I could also add, would work in regards to any units that had 0 air defences vs a unit stacked up that directly counters it.

Comment on your point 3: this is the reason why I always put at least 3 SAMs in every frontline airbase that I actively use, or have an ASF squadron patroling over to protect my refueling aircrafts. I master this skill myself (my 10:1 K/D agaist human players is achieved using all kinds of means to destroy aircrafts on the ground, in addition to SAM kills) so I know how dangerous it is if someone else uses it against me. So before using this technique, make sure the enemy has no air defense in the region. AWACS and stealth aircrafts are extremely useful to gather intelligence for this task.

Hi Melliodas I could use very good advice right now, so I'm China and my allies Afghanistan and India are about to no longer exist (Afghanistan betrayed us) because of Iran, and Iraq is up to me and Vietnam to survive, I have a decent air force but they are no good since we found out that they have SAMS and battle tanks, I have modern infantry, IFV and a decent navy which so far is what I'm ahead of our adversaries, any advice would be greatly appreciated.

Bruh you have to make AA if you’re going full ground force

You can win without an airforce with this combo: mrl + Radar + sam (and/or mobile anti-air if enemy has choppers). But defensive reaction can be slow if you dont have airforce so you may want to have at least 5 eaas :)

It's expensive but worth it, because it's like a snowball rolling down a mountain. Once you annex enough cities you will start making so many resources it won't even be an expense to annex anymore.

Hello. I’m doing a no navy challenge like you did with Germany, and I have a question, how do you counter the anti air with frigates, is their any way to bait it out like if you were too send 1 cruise missile ahead of others or can you not with aircraft

This technique wouldn't work against frigates because of the high point-defense value. So would you need a lot of max NPAs and sacrifice them to kill frigates which imo is ok since they're cheap and fast to mobilize. Also in your coastal cities, max mrls will be able to defend well against ships.

@@wallhop for future reference, naval strike fighters and cruise missiles are a good alternative, use the cruise missile to trigger the frigates air defences, a couple minutes prior to the NSF attacking it, rinse and repeat. If you refer to the Naval Strike Fighter's stats you'll notice it stacks up nicely with its anti-ship values at lvl 2+ a mix of naval strike fighters cruise missiles is what i do

Bro tank officer don’t increase speed of your MLRS, it’s only increasing speed for armoured units like racoon, armoured fighting tanks and amphibious, MLRS same as artillery or radars it’s support units, so speed buff or damage increase not working for them, so your “advance” advises are wrong
