Maybe do the 4 elements with each race, this could be stuff like traits, weapons n stuff, as well as corrosponding biomes eg water = swamp? (I think the swamp would have to have little islands but anyway) also there's hopefully a biome that could work for air, snow kinda looks like it?

I don't think it could really work, because soldiers loot weapons when they kill an enemy. So after one or two battle, both civilisation may have the same stuff.

Lust = Attractive trait Gluttony = Gluttonous trait Greed = Greedy trait Sloth = Slow trait Wrath = Bloodlust trait or Madness for the lulz Envy = Deceitful trait (hard one to find a good one for) Pride = Rat King trait. Don't know what it does but there can be only one!

I don’t know really how it would be done but you could do like smaller teams of like 10 people with really buffed stats fight each other. I really liked the longer fights from the immortals series when the immortals would actual battle!

Do 4 races but each race gets a default advantage. Like elves don’t get attacked by tree monsters (i think) so spawn them with those. Humans get double population. Dwarves get ores. Orcs get nothing but a barren wasteland bc they’re op.
