This was another very enjoyable reaction. This was his 2018 guest performance at the New Wave competition held annually since 2002 at the New Wave Hall in Sochi Olympic Park. The band A-Studio is originally from Kazakhstan. The keyboard player, Baigali Serkebaev, composed the song together with the poet Ilia Reznik, and the song was first performed in 1998. The singer of the group A-Studio passed away in 2015, and in this concert, the group was backing up guest vocalists. The triangle man is multi-percussionist Ilya Pokrovsky, a very talented man and a close friend of Dimash and member of the Dimash team (DQ Team). He plays various percussion instruments and accompanies Dimash in all his concerts. Someone explained that the special tribal riff is something practiced in Kazakhstan, Mongolia, and other parts of Asia. A similar technique is also used in some parts of the Middle East. It is referred to by some as a "glottal stop". We use it too when we say "uh oh". A Kazakh KZbinr commented that Dimash used a Kazakh singing technique, called 'komeymen aytu'. You can hear it among the Turan Group. Sakha people use this technique too; they call it 'kylyhah'. I read somewhere that the tribal vocalization was a tribute to the deceased singer, as it is similar to a technique usually used by women in Kazakh funeral ceremonies. The final run is 21.73 seconds on one breath. This competition was organized by the man in the white shirt who stood up in the first row, Billionaire Igor Krutoy, a famous Ukrainian and Russian music composer, performer, producer, and musical promoter. He invited Dimash to perform and it was this performance that prompted him to come out of retirement and compose masterpieces for Dimash to sing, such as I Miss You, Ogni Pietra, Your Love, Stranger, and Ave Maria, just to name a few. Since this concert, he has been collaborating with Dimash, writing music with his vocal range in mind, and often accompanying him on the piano. So you'll see more of him.

He is born in May 24 1994. He is from Kazakhstan and has been music schooled sense 5 years old and told the teacher that the piano was out of tune! He sings about 7 octaves or so! No one knows he is still learning. He sings higher than the piano can go! He also writs and compose own songs, plays bunch of instruments including Dombra there own Kazakh instrument that has a sound you can’t believe and onley 2 strings! He also sings in about 14 (Kazakh, Turkish, Usceck, Russian, Ukranian, Serbien, Bulgarian Chinese , Italien, Spamish, French, English, German, Japanese ) languages and speaks 3 so far (Kazakh, Russian and English). Dimash has an excellent education: he graduated from the College of Music with a degree in Opera Singing, university of arts in the specialty "Estrada and jazz vocals", and on June 18, 2020, he completed a master's degree in Composition. He graduated with a degree in opera from the music school at the University of Aktobe (2014), a degree in pop/jazz from the National Arts University in Nur Sultan (2018), just completed his Master's degree in composition (June 2020) and have started his PhD. He have done some contests in his life but the one I think got the worlds intension is "The Singer" (Allso called "I am a singer" or "Singer") from China in 2017. The Singer is a program for established Chinese singers to face off against each other invites only in a competition where votes were cast by an audience of 500. Dimash Qudaibergen was a last-minute inclusion (a 'dark horse'). But his performance of 'SOS D'un Terrien En Detresse' electrified the audience, his fellow competitors and the viewers who numbered in the billions (this program was one of the most-watched in China and outside). They also got him the nickname "Imported little brother" the day after the show. They also had to get bodyguard for Dimash do to the famous over night both in China and also the world. Dimash wasn’t really prepared for that. He had come to China at 22 years young man by him self and didn’t know the language. They hade contracted him for 2 shows because they didn’t think he cold go further than that. He didn’t think they would like him. So he was nervous this performers that he had also to start the show with. But they hade to change that do to his famous over night. Dimash got many new friends from this show and he said at some point he learned a lot from it to. The gentleman at the end you see standing and clapping is the famous Russian/Ukrainian composer, producer and songwriter Igor Krutoy. He has come out of retirement to work with Dimash. True masterpieces were created. He writes songs that only Dimash could sing with his vocal range, such as Olimpico, Stranger or Ave Maria (links below). You’ll often see him accompanying Dimash on the piano. The two have no contract. Their cooperation is based more on mutual trust. It’s more like a father/son relationship. Melo, Here history was made for more than just dimashs sinful passion. This performance for me sealed the case that Dimash is the greatest singer in the world both male and female. First the song was in Russian one of 15 languages Dimash sings in, also his techniques, flowing from one to the next with perfect pitch and dynamics, then I think there were four octaves sung in one song that some can sing but where these four octaves were sang in from base to soprano maybe metso, then the 24 second without breathing I think is a record but also the riffs runs and an eastern scale of some kind not done in English speaking countries, then off the subject but history happened that you as a reactor need to know. I believe this performance was 2018 or 2019. The song ended and Dimash didn’t get a complete standing ovation because it’s not customary in this part of the world - instead the flowers. So after a moment a tall bald man on the front row with a white shirt out of his pants stood up clapping for dimash. It is thought that this man knew Dimash and Dimash knew him maybe not personally but possibly after this show. This man is Igor Krutoy a Russian billionaire producer composer well known in this part of the world but “retired”. He had left music. Sometime after this he approached Dimash and offered Dimash his services and 5 of 10 of his songs for dimash to sing. Dimash had always been independent of producers. His mother a professional opera singer his dad a pop singer and producer. He wanted to mentor and collab with Dimash. Dimash did it but taking Igor for a producer but not legally as Dimash kept his independence. There are probably dearsbthat know more about this arrangement. So remember in your research this performance if you find the date any time you see Igor on the piano or his name in a thumbnail they are collaborating. As Dimash was both a child prodigy and an adult prodigy still only Igor is of a performance level equal to Dimash. I heard sos from the Chinese singer competition in 2017 I knew at the first hearing Dimash would either have to write his own songs, collab with someone or do covers that he reworked to do his range justice. Melo we belive dimashs range is 7,7 just under the range of the piano keys even though he’s hit a D8 one note off the piano at the top in the whistle keys. So that’s info I wanted to share about Dimash and Igor. Dimash is not in America partly because he was treated badly at the worlds best show and now (?) maybe he doesn’t need America so badly. He has his own studio where he created the Dimash 2021 digital concert show with over 400 people he hired. Dimash has two masters and is in his doctorate.

The Worlds Best created the show bc of him so they knew about him. They've had him on their radar for a long time. They didn't invite him to treat him bad,but they lied that he would not compete against children. Thats how desperately they wanted him there and it was in the 'cards' that he was going to win. But when Dimash realised that he was competing against children he wanted to leave so they got mad and disappointed. I just wanted to clear that up😊
