The storyline for revamped, based on many times watching and things Saraya has said on her twitch, is this. We see her wake up, as a vampire, in the empty house at the beginning. She wanders around the house [piano and furniture covered in dust cloths], reliving her memories of her life with him as a human, not knowing at first that he was a vampire and slowly getting clued in to that fact. She watches herself catching him in the act, her suicide and his realisation that the only way he can save her is to turn her [to a vampire]. When he gives himself up to the townspeople and is dragged away, she sees herself still lying on the couch recovering. She is then so overcome by her memories and the loss of him, that she steps out onto the balcony to give herself to the sun. The video ending makes it appear that their 'deaths' happened simultaneously but the storyline suggests, as does her white dress, that it was some unknown time later. A tragic love story.

Ronnie wrote the lyrics while in prison and recorded it within months of his release. The original video presents a fairly upbeat, humorous storyline but the lyrics in fact are about his very real struggles with drug addiction.

Great reaction!!..it's so amazing how the same song can be done so different and mean so much more when u hear it (the reimagined/revamped versions) ...ronnie is a musical genius. One of the best things about falling in reverse is every song is so different, u never know what u are gonna get with ronnie. The girl in the video is Saraya, aka Paige from WWE, aka Ronnie's girlfriend, they also filmed this in their house.. ronnie has also said that when it comes to videos he wants them to be epic and crazy..and if the record label doesn't want to put up the money for the production, he said he would use his own money for any video to make it the best it can be. He said so far his record label has always backed his visions and put up the money to make the most insane videos!! Can't wait for the next FIR.. the trilogy will be crazy.. watch till the end of every video..well the last 2 anyway as it's not over when u think it is...lol ..also "Alone" and "gangsters paradise" also musts ..and for something more tamer.. "brother" is super sad, but good.. and "carry on" as well..both are amazing!!

That is what I got out of it. It is probably the best production on a music video I have ever seen . He won tons if awards for Revamped as well. Why it hasn't won a Grammy I will never know. Wild and good theatrics trying to capture the inside of the mind of someone held hostage and ravaged by addiction! The music added to the feel! As a former Sailor, I'm familiar with this feeling. My poisons were both legal!! Alcohol and food. Tough to give up either, and the results of either can be fatal! I've liberated myself from both, but eating is essential to life, so that was the toughest to reign in! Alcohol is not essential, and was easier to rid from daily life. Also, the music was pretty good to!! My faith tipped the scales finally for me.

How did you come to the conclusion that he killed her? No shade just wondering. But no, he didn't kill her at least not directly. She killed herself after finding out that she was living with a monster not knowing all this time he was a vampire and that she was both covering up for him and cleaning up after his murders from the towns people. Feeling terrible for it as he truly loves and wants her to live he turns her and then gives himself up so the people who don't know he just turned her won't discover her so that she may live. The entire video is from her perspective as a vampire looking back on her human life with with him and realizing she can live without joins him in death ending her vampiric immortality. Also the lyric is, If home is where my heart is, then my heart has lost all hope.

I only understood it right away because I used to write fan fiction as templates for comic books and movies I eventually want to make and I'd usually write in this style. Plus I've also been exposed to plenty forms of media in the course of my 33 years that also uses this style of storytelling so it was easy for me to pick on the first watch. I also know the original version and video of the song so that helps too. In this version of the song he added to the lyrics but for the most part it's the same song arranged and performed differently.
