I got the 63 edition and supranotron. The only issue is not being able to mix all in the same ABC presets. An upgrade from 63 to pro would have been cool. Having the sounds separated into 2 different apps is handy for some setups so it hard to complain, especially because how nice the sounds are. I hate complaining about details when a developer creates something so nice. No one is perfect and we can always find something we would prefer. Great sounds indeed. Thanks for the video.

I’m very very pleased and Happy that they added the Harp Arpeggios! I have requested Omenie to add the Harp Rolls, Harp Solo, MKII Moving Strings, and Yes Arpeggio Violins. These sounds I requested are actually my favorite sounds!

Please ask Phil, to consider various clean guitar sounds. Semi hollow, jazz, R&B, country, etc type stuff. Many apps can shred, but there is still a need for playable clean guitars that we can run through amp modelers or good stand-alone. Thx🙏🏾👍🏾

Would love to see a SOPRANO RECORDER add on in the future to plastic AS TEARS GO BY, ALONG COMES MARY, SOMEBODY WHO CARES by McCartney. I tried it with flutes, it's not the same.

The Harp Arpeggios are brilliant. Unfortunately they are not available in the 63 version. Are there any other sounds that are in the Pro version but missing in the 63 version?

Markus Borchert Hi Markus, I think the Hard and the Rhodes are getting added to the 63 too, soon. And yes there are a lot more sounds in the Pro Version than the 63 version, the Pro also has all the Sopranotron 2 sounds too, however be aware that it’s still cheaper to buy the 63 and Sopranotron 2. separately than to buy the PRO version

Thank you for all of the amazing videos you create Mr. Woods! I have been an avid fan for a couple years now. Would you possibly consider making a video explaining how to get midi data out of the Groovebox app? I feel like with all of the apps like Audiobus, AUM & the new Photon AU Midi grabber etc. there should be a workaround to export some of the arpeggios/patterns I have cobbled together in Groovebox into Cubasis or Nanostudio2 but my knowledge has some critical holes keeping me from being able to do so. Thank you so much for everything you contribute to the iOS music world.

Super6Seven Alas Groovebox exports audio only. I too love this app and have used it extensively but it doesn’t have any midi apart from some limited triggering of the selected module. It seems like a strange omission but all of their apps are audio loop centered.

Grant Basma Horsnell I agree and I’ve left feedback and written the dev asking but they’re a little too proud to respond. I feel like there is going to be a ninja way to pickup on what’s happening backstage and get the data out of there. I’ve had a controller going the opposite way with Groovebox. ie something like a random midi generator playing a Groovebox instrument before making me think the guts are in there if only we can find a work around to tease them out.

I bought the '63 version but I'm not going to pay 25.00 for the pro version. Too bad there's not an upgrade from the '63 to the pro. I think this app sounds very authentic to the original Mellotron and it's my favorite go to app. I love the old Moody Blues stuff especially and re producing their sounds is fun and exciting.
