Just wanted to say I’m a huge fan of the layout of this video. Many things were done right for a climbing video. Closeups of the holds, it didnt say “FA Sleepwalker etc” right before he did the ascent, and it showed the progression/how many sessions were put in. Great job.
@GinoTheSinner6 жыл бұрын
And the intro talking about the problem and why it's interesting.
@JoeShowers6 жыл бұрын
For real! I love seeing the holds close up and seeing the level of detail and subtlety involved in climbing a boulder like this.

I never comment on Video's ever but a big +1 to this comment as this really captured the essence of a project. Which is especially interesting when you are dealing with the individuals on this level. I especially loved seeing other people work the crux. I hope the strong climbers push the limits together, which can only happen if they get others psyched on an open project, even at the risk of someone else sending.

actual send footage that shows the fight rather than cuts of perfectly executed staged moves = a gift to the climbing community. Thank you for bringing this type of format back.

I walked by this problem on the way to do Epinephrine about two weeks ago, and marvelled at how impossible this thing looked. Had no idea what it was, but I knew it was gorgeous, and that whoever was putting chalked on the holds must have been a strong cookie. It's so cool to find out I got to put my grubby little hands all over the hardest problem in the states.

Dude that victory scream is so beautifully haunting. Putting something like that down has got to be such an intense feeling, so much work all put into that final send and it’s just over after that.

What I love about this video is how it shows that failure is part of the journey. The will to keep trying and trying despite failing. That's an important lesson. Not only for climbing, but for life. Thank you Kevin Takashi for this wonderful video.

Yo!!!! 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣 Dude at 3:43 this dude tells Jimmy "Okay Jimmy all the tension in the world!" It's fucking hilarious to me because this is like the third or fourth video where I've heard that same guy in the background telling him the same thing and it's humorous because I've never heard any spotter yell that to a climber but honestly it's the most perfect thing to tell a climber on a hard-ass problem
