Recommend to visit during winter but it depends on one's interest. We visited during winter and it was rainy too. The experience will be different based on the seasons. In mellows homestay all rooms have same balcony. Cost for room 4k/person is what they quoted us. You can check on MMT, goibibo etc.. for latest price.

Both the resorts are equally good and offer different kind of experiences each. We stayed a night in both of them. Manikyadhara has offroading to reach the resort from main road. Can only be reached via SUV or they can take you on a jeep with a cost.

Search on maps and you can book with them directly either by call or they have dedicated website. You can also book from MMT, goibibo, yatra etc.. But booking with them directly will get you good price.
