this song is really an eye opener to not lose yourself for someone else. if they can’t appreciate you for who you are even if you have many flaws, then they should not be wasting your time. i’m emotional and a lil crazy sometimes just like mel. and i can see myself through her. i just got broken up with a week ago by the love of my life. and it was because i needed a lot of love and reassurance and he couldn’t handle it. i made mistakes and i wanted to fix them and he wasn’t willing to walk me down the finish line. and all i want is to be loved and for it to last forever. and i also have to remember that just because im needy of a lot of love and i make mistakes doesn’t mean im not deserving and worthy. it sucks and it hurts so bad because i miss him so much. but this is me and i wont change for him
