Hey men nice video, but you missed 75% of Melnik and there was some mistakes. First the main road right hand goes not to Sofia, it goes to Roshen and some other small villages and ends in the nowhere, left hand it goes to the town of Sandanski and the main road Struma highway which goes south to Greece and north to Blagoevgrad and Sofia. Melnik has nor 2000, but at 1900 the same number of inhabitants as Sofia 20000. The wine museum is nice but not really exciting. The history museum and the Kordupolova house are the places to visit. The real pyramids you can see if you walk the ecopath from Melnik to Roshen or Zlatolist, or on the walk above Melnik with the Fortress Slav, the Church Sveti Nikola and the ruins of the monastery. I wouldn't suggest the Chinarite restaurant, there a better in the town and the area around. Sune

@@ScotsmanInBulgaria if you revisit it have a look for the hikes and the Roshen monastery and the Orbelus Winery is worth a visit, both architecture ones and for there organic wines. I can also recommend Pristamena guesthouse in Melnik, great older couple, Stamena and Georgi next to the park over the Roman bridge the big house. Georgi make great wine.
