You should really try drilling the shells- I just did a bunch and was surprised how great they turned out and I only used bits from my husband’s stash! The shells are not as delicate as we all assume! I’m a new follower and love your creativity so Thankyou for such wonderful ideas that I am adding to my coastal wall!

Your channel just started showing up…LOVE IT. Just wanted to say that if you wanted to put some of these crafts outside, and you thought heat might be an issue with the hot glue, use E6000 in conjunction with the hot glue. The hot glue will hold things in place, while the E6000 sets up. Then if high temps loosen the hot glue, the E000 should hold it…Happy Crafting.

It’s a large screened in area with a roof attached to the back of our home. We have a dining set, an outdoor sectional and a hot tub in ours. They are popular in Florida which is probably why they are called that. Outdoor living 😊

When I realized that the sand dollars in the DT collection already had holes I got a couple of packs to make a wind chime--they are light-weight enough to make a nice sound, or I made one with little meta tubes in the middle of them.

I recently found your channel and love it! Coastal decor is my thing even though I moved away from the ocean. Drilling shells is super easy and fast with a dremel! I also drill sea glass which is definitely more challenging.

Have you seen the bags of drift wood at DT? They are around the same size as the wood sticks you used. But I don't think as many comes in the package. ❤
