Kyle J. K. H. Which distortion are you talking about? Because if you're refering to the throat bass, that is just a technique used by beatboxers, and it's made by his mouth only.

I don't think so. I'm quite familiar with throat bass, and it doesn't sound like that's what he's doing. I'm pretty sure it's an electronic effect. Plus his part has been electronically dropped by an octave. It's a very distinctive sound and they do it on other songs. Finally, the little solo at 2:22 has some distortion over it

giggityguy I assure you it is not. It certainly is a different kind of throat bass, not an usual one, but there's no distortion. Plus, the effect at 2:22 can be easily made by pressing your lower lip against your upper teeth, try it yourself, it's quite easy. And also, they performed it during ICCA (they uploaded the video too), and I believe such distortions are not allowed in that kind of competition.

For all the people saying that this is a load of shit, you might want to look at the description and see that this is based on a REMIX, so of course the verses will be messed up and the beat will be jumbled as well. Also, it's true the lead vocalist isn't the best, but I'd like to see you go up on stage and try to do what they're doing. I'm sorry if this seems rude, but I'm a muscian/accapella vocalist, so I just get mad when haters like you come up and say shitty things like that.

I liked the beginning.... but the guy who was singing did me in, he was trying too hard to sound like Aaron Bruno so sounded strained. And the guy beatboxing fell apart in the end, not sure where he was coming from, choosing to do the unlimited gravity version of this song was just a poor decision, get the singer to use his natural voice and use the original version of the song and these guys would have it.
