Alyx and Jacqueline don't get the attention they deserve, they were both Great Dolls. I can see Alyx helping keep her crab sisters stay focused. Alyx is lowkey hilarious and deserved more time as a Doll. As well as Jacqueline, someone facetime her or do a zoom call I'd luv to hear a few more bougie stories. Jordan seeming soft & calm but having an attitude that isn't to be played with is so fitting. Mel just seems like she is just so sweet, positive, and in her own world sometimes. And Tailyn seems like she is laid back but really funny and goofy. When she said "Nooo, it wasn't a solo I messed up." Can't get enough of 15!

I understood exactly what Jordan is saying with less is more. Whether a doll has been energetic (think Seaera, Dannie) or milky (think KP, Maya) they still had that effortless aura about them that made them look like dolls. Y’all are also KP’s babies so of course y’all would prefer more of effortless vibe bc that’s how y’all were taught. Understandable!

I love all of the dolls. With time comes change, as long as it doesn’t get too far from tradition. The dolls are still clean and dainty, but definitely a lot of attitude and fire now. I think that all depends on execution more so than the counts themselves, and many times execution is a reflection of the captains energy. I definitely love the effortlessness and agree that this is what makes dolls dolls. As far as current members, not only Kaylon, but I think Camryn would also fit right into the older teams

I personally feel like, contrary to popular belief, that the dolls are still the dolls. They are still the classiest team in HBCU dance, and you can see that from a mile away. Their counts still have that less is more in comparison to the other teams. Every other team is evolving so the dolls should do the same. As long as they still hold their place, I don't see a problem in the direction they're choosing to go.

Also, the sponsors and the band directors wouldn’t have let them change this much if they didn’t want them to... soo we can miss the old dolls all we want but the proof is in the pudding- 2017 was the most legendary year for the dolls to date

Some of these counts look like other schools & these bundles look heavier and heavier. Micah, Taneria and Lindsey had on straight up helmets. Weave is cool but can we make it LOOK REAL?
