Ajakks Was pushed to my breaking point, In pure anger I wanted to hit, but my good nature managed to restrain myself, not hitting the person but a closet to my left. At 5:45 You can actually move the thumbstick for that move and select where you want the blades to come out of the ground. Super OP and gives you easy Ichor within a map from easy kills. ;)

Finally started playing this game again and let me tell you, fashion >>>> stats in this game. Using thorn blood veils and using dark gifts with a sword makes me feel like a vampire knight. Wish they had a darker variant of Davis' armor, I'd rock that, too.

You can, it's just a matter of finding them. Louis's is a variant of the GXM Ogre type, and Jack wears a slight recolor of the Midnight Sun Fang.

Bandai needs to add more actual armor type Blood Veils. I get that this game is all EdgeLord vampires and punk aesthetics but come on...the only actual body armor is the GXL Defender. I want a set of full plate armor like the Cerberus guys have. Also a shield would be great since the enemies have them...

In any case, I'm just a Souls player being quirky. After the DLCs pretty much failed for Code Vein, none of my suggestions matter anyway if Bandai isn't going to make another one.

Most times I lose my life for daring to try, using it with more than one enemy around is just suicide and I end up better going off with just the avoid and weak attack button. It also seems faster that way. That's what brought me through the game but it feels so lacking....so boring.....

@@cheekyfantasy1314 No its not had big budget. Darksouls may not a very " high budget " for now but it was a fine budget back then. Code Vein has a serious case of low number on assets. Each map use same stuffs over and over again, finding way is a pain to do, with reskin enemies all over. Being anime style also due to fact they not having enough money to make character to look semi realisticly beautiful like Final Fantasy, which what they wanted according to staff members, they did not tend to make everything too cartoonish. If they ever make Code Vein 2, i would like to have : full on suit like that queen's knight guy or giving you the choice to dress with many types of bikini lol, character will put their sword on their back or hip instead of holding them in cutscenes. And more choices for ranged combat instead of only bayonets.

​@@iloveanothermanswives4278 DS1 has 15-25 million budget Code Vein is 25-35 million Code vein has the same estimate Dev cost as Ds3 if were just counting base game from what you are saying seems like you already know that the difference really is the studio From software also reuses alot of assets, but its used in a way that the art style and overall decrepit theme of the game hides this Code vein is Code Vein because it is a Souls Clone, its not a bad game ( you seem to think im negative about it ) but as a Souls Clone its not really doing any better than the Surge , average but i do agree that a sequel would atleast be a improved version of the first (unless they are incompetent and release a shitty one)

However, DS lack an actual properly made narrative through out the game, which cut alot of budget on that. Code Vein due to its nature, won't let the characters full on inhuman looking, thus the outfit only serves as coat/semi weapon. Still, i do hope that Code Vein 2 will be better, since the game turned out more high effort than i expected. It had quite popularity and not ended up like the surge or lord of the fallen
