I’m rewatching Melrose place season 1 and kind of forgot about her! Shame they let her go IMO! They could’ve done a lot more with her: -the struggling actress: notice how none of them are working in the industry throughout the show, even though they live in Hollywood! They could’ve used her as the one in the industry of the show. -she’s absolutely beautifully STUNNING! -Jake storyline

Melrose's first psycho. Though certainly not the last. I noticed that Sandy didn't have a southern accent in these clips. But in other episodes before she was written off she had an accent.

I read that Aaron Spelling kept telling her one week to have a southern accent then the next week not to have a southern accent. I think Grant Show who plays Jake talked about it Said how it was wrong Spelling couldn't make up his mind.

I remember HATING Sandy's southern belle accent in the first few episodes. It felt so forced. I've always wonder how the actresses that played Sandy and Rhonda felt about seeing the show really take off once they were no longer there.

I read that they fired Amy Locane who played Sandy because her acting style wasn’t what they were looking for! Regardless, this is an excellent episode!
